  1. Meet Entry Requirements:
    • Hold a Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent).
    • Show strong English and Maths skills.
    • Possess qualities like compassion, good communication, and reliability.
  2. Enroll in a Training Program:
    • Choose a Provider: Look into options like Hopefield Institute (offering Advanced Nursing Assistant) or  (offering IVQ in Health & Social Care).
    • Program Structure: Programs often combine online theory with a mandatory week of in-person practicals in Lusaka, plus clinical placements.
    • Key Skills Learned: Expect training in personal care, nutrition, basic nursing, CPR, ethics, and communication.
  3. Complete Practical Training & Placement:
    • Hands-On Practice: Attend required practical sessions (often in Lusaka) for skills assessment.
